Bring Rainbow Solidarity to Toronto on Nov. 9-11
to Free the Cuban Five!
The help of all signers and friends of Rainbow Solidarity for the Cuban Five is needed to build support for the powerful "Breaking the Silence: Canada-U.S. Solidarity Conference on the Cuban Five" in Toronto, Canada, on Nov. 9-11, 2007.
In particular, Canadian lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans labor activists have strengthened Rainbow Solidarity by signing on as individuals and getting their unions to sign on, as well. Now, mobilizing to spread the word to build the historic Nov. 9-11 conference in Toronto will be a great contribution.
The National Network On Cuba and the Canadian Network On Cuba are holding this joint conference. Join together with family members of the Cuban Five who are traveling to Toronto for this event and Cuba support activists to discuss and plan building an even stronger movement to win freedom for the five Cuban political prisoners being held in U.S. prisons.
The NNOC says, "Plans include a public meeting, press conference, plenary, workshops, and a chance for brainstorming on ways for the two networks to work more effectively. We will be holding the fall NNOC meeting on Sunday, November 11th."
